A space to post my thoughts and musings about anything. This includes but is not limited to community, politics, current events, relationships, LGBTQ+ issues, favorite things, and stuff that would make your dead relatives blush. I am not afraid to go there, as some can attest.

Another Part of the Forest, Oct 14, 15, 16, 17

Giving a heads-up because this sounds interesting and I'll be seeing it on Friday night.

Another Part of the Forest, by classic American playwright Lillian Hellman. "A ruthless Civil War profiteer's fortune is endangered when his dysfunctional family turns on him."

Dates: October 14: 7:30 PM
15: 7:30 PM
16: 2:00 PM and 7:30PM
17: 2:00 PM

Location: Catholic University of America's Hartke Theatre. It is metro accessible off of the Red Line at Brookland/CUA station.  As I remember you walk across part of the campus and around the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and go walk up Harewood Road (Google maps shows it to be around 4120 Harewood Rd, NE)

Cost: $15.

Buy your tickets in advance because this is not in the main theater, this is in a more intimate setting with the audience on the stage area itself, so space is limited.  Buy them here http://drama.cua.edu/hartke-season.cfm
