HRC = Hillary Rodham Clinton and the Human Rights Campaign

Vanessa Edwards Foster discusses Hillary Clinton's record when it comes to GLBT rights...or in this case, how she and the HRC seem to conveniently forget the T in GLBT.

Reading this article has given me some food for thought on being careful to consider my choice if I were to consider the record of the candidates when it comes to GLBT issues. I could easily argue that Hillary could be good for me and my issues as a gay man, but is that really fair to only consider myself, when those I know who are transgendered will basically be thrown under the bus?

I want the rights for all, not just for some, and the last thing I want to be is one of "those" people who only look to the transgender folks when they want something. They deserve equal treatment just like anyone else in the U.S.

However, this won't be the only issue I take into consideration when I make my choice on Feb 12, I'm still undecided in that regard. Still, this is pretty important.
