Want something quick and easy for lunch this Sunday that will be beneficial to the local arts community?
St Georges Episcopal Church (7010 Glenn Dale Road, Glenn Dale, MD 20769) is holding a Chicken BBQ lunch from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Sunday July 20. The menu is a 1/4 chicken in special New York State Fair marinade, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, corn bread; dessert; iced tea, lemonade, or bottled water. A vegetarian menu includes vegan sausage, instead of chicken (I believe this is all served buffet style).
Prices are $15.00 for adults, $7.50 for kids and seniors. All proceeds go to the St Georges players to pay for the production of Children of Eden, which will be performed on August 22, 23, and 24, so mark your calendars for that as well.
